My grandpa’s been in the hospital for a while and thanks to the power of technology, we’re able to talk to him, see him in video, almost every day. I even signed up for a skype premium package, which is just very cheap, and allows you to call anywhere in Canada unlimited, plus we get to do conference calls anytime. We recently had a conference call from four different locations – 1 in Vancouver, 1 in Toronto, 1 in Malabon, and the other one in Talayan. Although we may not be physically there, but at the least, you get to see and talk to your loved ones just with just a click of a few buttons. It definitely bridges that gap. This is way better, than nothing at all.
